Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ThemeSnap ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using ThemeSnap you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

• Account info: email, hashed password, username, profile photo.
• Social login: name, email, profile photo, provider ID (Google/Facebook).
• Uploaded photos: photo files (stored in Microsoft Azure Blob Storage), EXIF (including location if present), upload time, capture device info.
• Content metadata: captions, theme submissions, likes.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device & usage data: device model, OS version, IP address, app version, identifiers, crash logs.
• Analytics: Firebase Analytics (if enabled).

1.3 Image Analysis & AI

We do not edit your photos. We use automated AI checks for theme compliance and moderation (nudity/violence detection and authenticity flags).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use data to operate accounts and daily themes, display photos, run moderation/authenticity checks, improve service, and prevent abuse. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

Authentication & database: Firebase Authentication and Firestore. Images are stored in Microsoft Azure Blob Storage. Analytics & crash reporting use Firebase products (if enabled).

4. Sharing Your Information

We may share data with service providers (Firebase, Azure, AI moderation providers). We may disclose data to comply with Egyptian law or legal requests. Uploaded content is visible to other users (photo, username, profile photo, theme submissions).

5. User Rights

You may request access, correction, and deletion of specific content. Photos can be removed inside the app. Account deletion is not self-service at this time — to request deletion email ismaeel_ibrahem@outlook.com.

6. Children’s Privacy

ThemeSnap is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child's data was collected, contact us.

7. Data Security

We use HTTPS, provider encryption at rest, access controls, and other reasonable measures to protect data. No system is perfectly secure.

8. Cookies & Tracking

ThemeSnap does not use cookies directly. Third-party services (Firebase) may use identifiers for analytics and crash reporting.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use means acceptance of updates.
